About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Consultant / Support Analyst to support our senior consulting team and help deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.
This role is hands-on and detail-oriented. You’ll spend most of your time working in Excel-based templates and SQL, making updates, troubleshooting issues, and supporting customer requests. Your work will enable senior consultants to focus on more complex design and implementation work.
If you enjoy working in Excel, solving problems, and figuring out how things work under the hood, this role is a strong fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and modify Excel-based templates within the True Sky platform
- Make updates to existing customer models (formulas, structures, layouts)
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer support issues
- Write and run SQL queries to investigate data and support fixes
- Work closely with senior consultants to implement and refine solutions
- Assist with customer calls and support tickets
- Learn how budgeting and planning models are structured and maintained
Over time, there is opportunity to grow into:
- Leading parts of implementations
- Running customer training sessions
- Taking on more complex model design
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 6 months, you:
- Can confidently make changes to templates without breaking things
- Understand how our models are structured and how data flows
- Can troubleshoot common issues independently
- Know when to ask questions and how to find answers quickly
Core Requirements (Must-Have)
- Strong Excel skills (complex formulas, structured logic, ability to debug spreadsheets)
- Strong SQL fundamentals (writing queries, joins, filtering, investigating data issues)
- Comfortable working with detailed, structured data
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn quickly and ask questions
Nice to Have
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting
- Customer-facing or support experience
- Experience working with structured templates or models
